Leaving a Legacy

What better legacy could you leave for future generations than a glimpse back into the past.

The future is far too important to be left to chance. We all want to ensure that our family and loved ones will be well looked after when we are no longer there to help; that's why making a will is one of the most important jobs that we must do.

A legacy to Clifton Cathedral, no matter how small, included in your will, is a way of helping to ensure that your children and your children's children will be able to enjoy a stunning architectural marvel for many generations to come. If you wish to leave an amount of money to the Clifton Cathedral in your will, this can be arranged. Please contact Mary Manners.

Gift Aid

Are you a UK Taxpayer? If yes, you can participate in GIFT AID.

What does this mean?

Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further.

This means that £1 can be turned into £1.25 and £100 can be turned into £125, just so long as donations are made through Gift Aid. Imagine what a difference that could make, and it doesn't cost you a thing.

When you visit Clifton Cathedral, please complete Gift Aid forms and hand them in at the office or simply complete one on line.

Corporate Sponsorship

We would be very interested in talking to any company that would be interested in being involved in sponsoring the Clifton Cathedral Repair our Roof Appeal, either locally or nationally, big or small. This could take the form of financial support, equipment, materials, advertising and promotions or voluntary labour.

Please contact Mary Manners to discuss the matter further.

Donations

Any donation, whatever size, large or small, will be gratefully received. Please send your cheques, made payable to ‘Clifton Cathedral Cephas Fund' to Cathedral House.

If you would like to make a cash donation, in person, we have a number of collecting tins in the Cathedral.

Prayer

And last but by no means least we ask for your prayers that we can be successful in our appeal and save our wonderful building for the future generations who will use it.

God our Father, Divine Architect,
Creator of our Human Family;
Risen Jesus, Cornerstone of our Faith,
Lover of us all;
Spirit of Wisdom, Builder of community,
Our Inspiration and Guide;
You call us to build up Your Kingdom.

Bless us with
generous hearts,
open minds,
greater unity,
renewed vision,
as we seek to repair our Cathedral
for celebration and worship.

May our Cathedral be a home where all are welcomed, nourished, and empowered to be Christ for others.  Amen.
